Sony SRS-XV800 Review: A fantastic albeit pricey party Bluetooth speaker

The Sony SRS XV800 is an impressive party speaker with impactful bass response and the ability to get extremely loud, however, it’s not the best home theatre solution in its price range. You can get cheaper soundbars that will sound better in your home theatre setup. Where the Sony SRS XV800 shines is as a party speaker – you’ve got rich and full-bodied bass response, classy LED lights that sync up with the music, and tons of customisability options via the app. The price is a bit on the higher side though – especially in India where it is not customary to drop close to ₹50,000 on a speaker. At the Digit Test Labs, we’ve tested a fair share of Sony’s Bluetooth speakers. However, most of these were compact and extremely portable. This time around we got a monster of a speaker from Sony for review. The Sony SRS XV800 is being advertised as a speaker that wears many feathers in its cap. Sony says that this Bluetooth speaker is capable enough to be your home entertainment speaker, karaoke

HP Omen 16 Review: Great Cooling, Performance And Display For Rs 13 Lakh

Not only does the HP Omen 16 improve upon its previous design flaws but it does so with a clear focus on maintaining the laptop's famous cooling performance. The use of the AMD Ryzen 7840HS processor further expands the usability of HP Omen 16 in terms of efficiency. And on top of that HP's engineering and design capabilities keep it competitive to other identically specced gaming laptops and even surpassing them in terms of thermal efficiency. The easy-to-use HP Omen firmware, a highly colour-accurate display, and a great keyboard trump the fact that its quad-speaker setup and trackpad are what my Gen Z neighbour would call "mid" by modern standards. In the dynamic landscape of gaming laptops, where flashy designs once ruled the roost, subtlety, and elegance are emerging as the defining traits. The AMD-powered HP Omen 16, priced at Rs 1.31 lakh, is a testament to this shift, offering a sleek, understated look that veers away from the stereotypical gamer aesthetic.

Moto G84 5G Review: Doing budget phones right

I personally really liked the Moto G84 5G. From the way it looks, to the way it performs, to the software - everything on the smartphone is pretty much on-point. If it weren’t for the disappointing update cycle, I would go as far as saying that this is the best smartphone under Rs 20,000.  The Moto G-series from Motorola has been the company’s forerunner in the Indian market since Android came into being. Arguably the most popular smartphone from Motorola in the Android era, the Moto G-series of smartphones are still here and are still offering a good value for money.  The Moto G84 5G is the latest from Motorola’s budget series and the smartphone offers quite a lot under the Rs 20,000 price tag. We get a nice vegan leather back with a Pantone colour, which gives a premium in-hand feel. The smartphone is also lightweight, and the pOLED display looks vibrant from the moment you set eyes on the device. But is the smartphone any more than just aesthetics? Let’s find out in our review of
